Beatnickel Diary – Chapter 3
It’s official: Beatnickel is now live on the App Store and Google Play!
After a few bumps in the road, we finally got the green light from Apple — which means you can now download Beatnickel on both iOS and Android.
This is a big moment for us. Not because everything is perfect yet (it’s not).
But because this marks the very first step in something we’ve dreamed about for a long time: building the ultimate platform for musicians, bands, and the entire music community.

MVP = Minimum Viable Power
What you’ll find in the app today is our very first MVP version.
It’s simple, functional, and — most importantly — ready for you to try out, test, and help us improve.
We hope you’ll take a look, create a profile, explore the features — and share your honest feedback. That’s how we’ll make Beatnickel even better.
What’s Next?
We’re already working on a major UX improvement:
A new signup flow, where you first join as a musician — and then have the option to create a band, much like starting a Facebook group.
Our goal?
A newly created band on Beatnickel should be able to:
🎸 Invite members
🥁 Schedule its first rehearsal
🎤 Create a basic setlist
All within the first 5–10 minutes.
Tools for Rehearsals and Beyond
We know how important it is to bring structure and clarity to rehearsals — especially when starting a new band. That’s why we’re developing tools to help with:
- Building and sharing setlists
- Uploading and distributing files
- Better coordination and communication
In short: Beatnickel aims to help you go from idea to music — faster.
Thank You for Being Here
If you’ve made it this far — thank you.
We’re still just getting started, but we’re building with passion, love for music, and a deep respect for the community we’ve always wished existed.
Thanks for joining us on this journey. We can’t wait to keep building — with you. 🎶
